Star Wars Battlefront 2 – EA Says Crates Can Be a “Fun Addition” to the Game

Are you ready for Star Wars Battlefront 2? The game is all set for launch on 17 November 2017 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One!

Just before its launch, the game has been receiving criticisms for its loot box system. The devs at EA DICE have taken to Reddit to answer questions, including what they can say about the loot box/crate system.

EA DICE associate design director Dennis Brannvall said, “I think crates can be a fun addition as long as you don’t feel forced to engage with them in order to progress. I feel that’s where the issue is with our game right now and that’s where we’ll look to solve as quickly as we can. We’re looking to add additional ways to progress your favorite character or class, while allowing crates to be a fun thing for those who want to engage with them.”

We hope EA and DICE can sort this thing out soon.
