Overwatch Halloween Terror: Loot Boxes and New Co-op PvE Brawl are Coming!

Blizzard finally confirms the much talked about Overwatch Halloween event after tons of speculations circulated online. The event is called “Overwatch Halloween Terror” and this event is set to run starting October 11th and ends on November 1st. This limited-time seasonal event will bring Halloween-themed loot boxes as well as a new co-op mode.

All in-game loot boxes have been changed to Jack-O’-Lanterns starting October 11th. These loot boxes include more than 100 cosmetic treats. And as with all seasonal events, all loot boxes your purchase or unlock during the Halloween Terror event includes at least 1 item from the Halloween collection: sprays, profile icons, emotes, victory poses, skins, highlight intros, and more. All Halloween items you unlock are yours to keep even after the event ends.

Also now open to all is a new co-op PvE Brawl called Junkenstein’s Revenge. This mode will require three players, and you can choose whetther you would like to play as an Alchemist (Ana), an Archer (Hanzo), a Gunslinger (McCree), or a Soldier (Soldier 76). You and your team will defend Adlersbrunn castle’s doors from waves of attacks from Dr. Junkenstein and his evil zombies.
