O Game Developers Choice Awards divulgou a lista de indicados e Honorable Mentions para a cerimônia de 2026. Quem está mandando ver este ano é Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, da Sandfall Interactive, que já saiu levando vários prêmios e indicações por aí. E sim, ele voltou com tudo para concorrer mais uma vez a Game of the Year.
Os indicados ao Game Developers Choice Awards 2026
A 26ª edição anual do Game Developers Choice Awards acontece no dia 12 de março, como parte do GDC Festival of Gaming em San Francisco. A cerimônia é aberta para quem tem passe da GDC, mas também será transmitida ao vivo no canal da GDC na Twitch para o mundo todo.
Todos os indicados e vencedores vêm de jogos lançados no ano passado, selecionados pela International Choice Awards Network (ICAN), um painel exclusivo por convite formado por desenvolvedores renomados da indústria.
Além das categorias votadas pelos próprios profissionais, o GDCA também conta com o Audience Award, que dá aos fãs a chance de apoiar o jogo que eles acham que causou mais impacto. A votação pública começa no dia 26 de janeiro.
Diferente de muitos prêmios da indústria que destacam apenas poucos finalistas, o GDCA também anuncia as Honorable Mentions, dando destaque a jogos que não chegaram à final, mas que mesmo assim foram reconhecidos pelo trabalho incrível.
